Laura Register started her career auditing for the state of Arizona, where she discovered a passion for program compliance. Laura's strengths and expertise are in identifying risk, and going beyond that to solve complex problems in ways that prioritize efficiency and effectiveness while reducing administrative burden. Laura has spent the last twelve years at one of the top private non-profit universities in the country, specializing in leading programmatic compliance activities for sponsored research, the university ethics and compliance program, and project-managing risk and internal controls initiatives. Laura possesses comprehensive knowledge of Uniform Guidance, DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs, Government Auditing Standards (GAS/GAGAS), and Single Audit requirements.

Laura is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), all of which align her extensive practical experience with industry standards.
